K.L.: ~$25k a month
“BitB changed my life honestly.”
Where I started, and where I am now
I mix too many stakes to give a good answer for bb/100, but before BitB I was playing 200–1kNL, and now I'm playing 200NL–5kNL, averaging about $25,000 a month (at about 50k hands a month).
How my game has evolved
I have a structured study process that involves learning new theoretical concepts as well as drilling thresholds and hand review. I used to just look at one hand a day on a free solver tier.
The biggest difference from 12 months ago
I am now more confident that I am stronger than most opponents I play with, and I generally give people less credit.
What made the biggest impact
Videos from the group sessions.
Breakthroughs and turning points
I can't think of any single thing, just gradual building blocks.
To a strong mid-stakes player who's unsure
As long as you're willing to put in the work, it's a no-brainer in terms of value.
Anything else
BitB changed my life honestly. There's a pretty strong chance that without it I would be a somewhat miserable corporate employee and a mediocre poker hobbyist on the side. Seeing others going through a similar journey to me is extremely inspiring and pushes me to be better.
